800 Series AES/EBU Digital Audio Cable 24g 110 ohm – NEC CMR Rated

Clark Wire & Cable’s AES/EBU cables have been engineered to match the specific standards required for cable used to carry AES/EBU digital audio signals. This specification calls for a low capacitance, 110 ohm impedance, shielded twisted pair. Even slight deviations from the impedance specification can lead to reflections and timing errors (or jitter) in the digital signal. In addition, lowered bandwidth caused by high capacitance will also contribute to data transmission errors. This precision cable helps correct these problems, it’s perfect for the job.

Clark Wire & Cable also offers the 802 siamese type dual cable. This is ideal for bidirectional dubbing hookups between individual pieces of equipment, such as a DAT machine and a hard disk recorder, The multi-pair AES/EBU snakes are ideal for digital duplication and digital production suites incorporating AES/EBU routing switchers, minimizing the amount of cable runs between rooms and between racks. Clark’s 801 is a low-loss 110Ω data cable for AES/EBU digital audio applications. Easy to terminate, the 801 features a bonded easy-strip shield and tinned copper conductors that streamline cable termination. Excellent common-mode and RF/EMI noise rejection are achieved by a precision twisted pair and 100% foil shield. For impedance matching in data transmission applications, the 801 has a precision 110Ω characteristic impedance. UL rated CM, the 801 can be installed in a variety of permanent installation environments.
